Using the V20 denailer
- POINT END - nails projecting more than 1-1/2 inches
Step 1: Bend the nail straight with the nail kicker.
Step 2: Lift the nail kicker away from the wood's surface allowing the nose to cover 1/2" to 5/8" of the nail end and pull the trigger to deliver the maximum force to the nail.
Step 3: Place the nail kicker over the nail end again; press firmly and pull the trigger. Generally, after the second attempt the nail will eject.
Step 4: If the nail does not eject, use a hammer claw to remove the displaced nail.

- HEAD END - All nails
Step 1: Place the nail kicker square and center over the nail head.
Step 2: Press on nail kicker firmly and pull the trigger.
